Paul Renshaw
“Virtual Skys makes Short Films in VR and Live Action and it’s lots of Fun. Join us on this Adventure.”

Biography
Paul Renshaw is a self-taught creative force based in Toronto, Canada, operating under the banner of Virtual Skys Studio. Diagnosed with a Learning Disability and Autism, Paul has channelled his unique perspective into a rich body of work spanning short filmmaking, AI-generated music, AI writing, and AI graphic design.
Paul's journey into filmmaking began with a passion for storytelling that transcended conventional barriers. As a proud member of the Kino Toronto filmmaking community, he has written, directed, and produced multiple short films — from live-action drama to experimental VR productions — earning recognition at the Bright International Film Festival 2022 for his experimental work "DEEP Space Morons."
Short Filmmaking
Paul is the founder and creative director of Virtual Skys Studio, where he produces short films in both live-action and virtual reality formats. His work explores science fiction, cyberpunk noir, and experimental storytelling, often using tools such as Unreal Engine 4 for virtual production and iClone for 3D animation.
Notable works include "GREYS Conspiracy" (Kino Toronto), "ALTERED REALITY" (Kino Berlin submission), "D.A.T.E." (Kino Toronto premiere), and "A Film Noir Cyberpunk Short Film." Paul has also served as Assistant Director on several productions and contributed special effects work to independent short films.
AI Music Production
Under the alias jubeii89 on Suno, Paul produces AI-generated music spanning a wide range of genres — from surf rock and spy jazz to folk, classical chamber music, and cinematic pop. His flagship project, the "Agent of clean Lubov." album, is a 16-track concept soundtrack built around the character of Lubov the Cleaning Lady, blending humour, drama, and genre-bending composition.
Paul's approach to AI music production treats the technology as a creative collaborator, using carefully crafted prompts to generate original compositions that reflect his cinematic sensibility.
AI Writing
Paul uses AI writing tools to develop screenplays, short story concepts, and creative narratives. His writing process combines his personal experiences as an autistic creator with AI-assisted ideation, resulting in stories that are both deeply personal and imaginatively expansive. He is currently developing several projects in the science fiction and thriller genres.
AI Graphic Design
As an AI graphic designer, Paul creates visual art, promotional materials, and concept imagery using AI image generation tools. His design work supports his film productions and music releases, and he maintains an active gallery of AI-generated photography and artwork. His visual style tends toward the cinematic and dramatic, reflecting his broader creative identity.
Neurodiversity & Creativity
Paul is an open advocate for neurodiversity in the creative arts. As a Learning Disability Autistic creator, he believes that different ways of thinking produce different — and often more interesting — art. His work with Virtual Skys Studio is a testament to the power of persistence, self-expression, and the democratising potential of modern creative technology.
Paul's story is one of embracing limitations as creative fuel, and his growing body of work stands as an inspiration to other neurodivergent artists finding their voice in the digital age.
